The other day, the boyfriend randomly suggested to go for some “healthier” activities instead of our usual lifeless & “unhealthy” daily routine. He came out with a brilliant idea which I first refuse to join him.

Guess what we did, with the knife the red thingy which I don’t know what it is.

yes, yours truly went fishing prawning.
No doubt, it’s something really new to me. I didn’t even went fishing before.

went with the boyfriend, and AH TOK!

On the first hour, ah tok & me failed to fish any prawn.
but boyfriend already caught 2, actually it’s only one. The other one he “rasuah-ed”.

tick tock, tick tock, time passed.

I learned that it requires a certain level of skill to jerk the rod on the moment when the prawn bites,
otherwise, the prawn might just ate the hum and swim off.
as a conclusion, I still got nothing.

Started to feel really bored.
I then threw my rod aside, and started camwhoring.

boyfriend, waiting patiently.

Ah tok got nothing too, he then started to get busy with his phone.
playing some fishing game with his very canggih phone, trying hard to learn some skills from it.

He told bii:” If i failed to prawn pawn, i will pawn you!”

Everyone in the shop was looking at me when I started camwhoring, I paiseh, like yeaaa.
& so I started killing my time by chopping the red thingy. it’s like I am playing MASAK MASAK, they said.

suddenly my rod moved, I got so intense, & without a second thought, I pulled my rod ignoring those skills which they said it’s important after failing so badly in the previous attempts, and surprisingly, I succeeded in getting myself the first prawn.

I was so excited, and started to think it wasn’t that bad after all. No more complains about how bored I am right after I caught the 1st prawn. Satisfaction, overwhelmed.

I did nothing after that but staring at the indicator of my rod, check whether it sank into the water which indicating the weight on the rod. If it sank, it means, there’s prawns that hooked on my rod already, & it’s time to jerk the rod. wee!

*round of applause please. ^^

I caught 2 prawns in 2 and a half hour time. It’s very little, but I am pretty satisfied already. ^^
ah tok got one in the very end, while the others was caught by the boyfriend.

went back to the boyfriend’s place and it’s time to prepare the “cheesy butter prawn”.
it’s so easy that all of you could have try if you have prawns in your fridge.

Boyfriend’s aunt first helped us to clean the prawns
& marinated it with pepper and butter.

put the cheese on the aluminum foil, followed by the marinated prawns and butter.
if you are a cheese lover like me, put more cheese on the top of the prawns before you fold it up.

after that place it into a toaster/oven for about 20 mins.

Then, tadah, it’s good to be served.
it smells good and tastes even better.

i am loving it! slurppps.

將傷口包扎，以為那樣就不疼了。
笑著從新面對新的開始。

他回來了，一切不是應該好好的嗎？
但為何我未感到愉快，仍然感到悲傷。

后来發現那一次又一次的離去已讓我遍體鱗傷，
我需要時間復原。

咬緊牙根，堅信著那遍體鱗傷的我也能擁有幸福。
是的，也許我真的有用不盡的勇氣與堅持。

愛情，讓我勇敢了。

My skin condition was crazily bad after I got back from Singapore due to the sleepless nights and also my forgetfulness as I actually have forgotten to bring my cleanser along.

I wore thick make up during the NN awards, when I got back to the hotel and after I removed my makeup, only then I realized I did not bring my cleanser along. All I could do was to wash my face with only clean water, but hell, that isn’t sufficient to clean the congested skin.

As a result, I have a very oily and dirty skin which got me has blocked pores, and lil volcanoes popping out on my forehead. In another word, I have got blackheads and whiteheads. My skin condition had reached a level that even make up could not successfully conceal my polluted face.

I use the pointer tweezers to squeeze those blackheads, which somehow worsen the situation. My pores seem to be bigger. I am left my scarred skin and red nose. *cry. Also, my cleanser is too mild for me now. It doesn’t work effectively anymore.

So, I have no choice but hide in my room.

I wanted to go to the beauty salon to get myself a facial treatment as I had seen how Jiashin’s skin got better after the treatment. But wait, it costs around rm400, and, I am so eff-ing broke now. Oh gosh.

My mom then throws me a pack of OXY products.

That’s my only hope now, I thought.
Tried it, and feel VERY VERY VERY much better. I am serious. It has been days, since I clean my skin with the OXY products. & I see the improvement of my skin condition; otherwise, I wouldn’t have the guts to do this advertorial as I will need to show my naked face.

& fyi, all these photos are taken under sufficient sunlight. *wink

First, use the OXY blackheads clearing wash which helps to helps to remove dirt, oil, and impurities. Also helps to unclog pores, and reduces blemishes.

I am like, oh, that’s the thing I need right now.

Then, use the OXY nose pore strips.
It instantly removes oil, dirt and blackheads, leaving you with smaller pores. Haha, no more red nose! Also, it contains Tea Tree Oil to prevent blemishes.

How to use it:
- wet your nose thoroughly.
- peel off the plastic liner with dry hand.
- firmly press down the strips on the nose area.
- wait for 10-15 minutes.

p.s. – use it twice a week.

I feel really good seeing those dirty lil white thingy sticking on the strips.
Its like, byebye, you nasty thing.

Use toner to tighten the pores after that.

& Tadah, I now have clear smooth skin.
I went out on a date with the boyfriend today, without make up.

He said. I still look great. *happy!

There’s another thing that add on my convenience as it could help to clean your face when you are out and on the go, which is the oil control cleansing wipes. It effectively removes makeup, oil, and dirt leaving my skin fresh and clear with soothing care.

It’s so convenient that I can actually throw it into my handbag.

I am doing a food post now, an awesome one because I am now starving in the room of mine at Kampar. All that I had in my mind is food, food, food & food. I need food, desperately.

So yea, the other day before I got back to Kampar, the boyfriend’s classmate, Ali who is from the middle east country, suggested us to have our dinner at Hadramawt, Chulan Square. Agreed, so the four of us, Ali, the boyfriend, yours truly & melaniehwa went to the suggested restaurant.

Restoran Hadramawt.

They are known to serve the best Yemeni and Arabian food in town.

The boyfriend and Ali ordered so much, & these are SOME of the food we ordered.
The first one is Hummus, the boyfriend’s favorite.

The hummus was made of chickpeas, olive oil, lemon and etc. I dipped the pita into the hummus, put it into the mouth, and almost puke on that second. Because, I thought the taste was extremely odd at first. didn’t want to try anymore, but got psycho-ed bout how nuticious and delicious it is, i decided to give it another try. & surprisingly after a few bite, it wasn’t that bad. It tastes a lil like blended peanut cream with olive oil.

i didn’t know it’s mutton, so I ate it, no smelly lamb odour, & it tastes like chicken pie with spices.

i-forgotten-what-this-called.

It is made from minced lamb and herbs, I don’t favor mutton, so I did not try.
However, according to the other 3 it’s very yummy and doesn’t have the typical strong lamb odour.

next time, perhaps.

Grilled chicken.

It wasn’t dry like what it seems to be, in fact, it’s juicy!

The mixed grill.

It includes the lamb kebab, chicken kebab, beef kebab, grilled shrimps and my favorite, the fish fillet. It has been all marinated before it’s grilled. I was very much in love the grilled fish fillet. It’s tender and sweet, awesome. However, the 3 of the prefer the lamb kebab more, I have no comment since I don’t eat mutton.

this is the first time, me, smoking, shisha.

mel & ali had the watermelon favor one.
while the boyfriend and I had the cocktail favor one.

but it’s like no different cause I tastes nothing.
& I wonder why the smoke i blew out is so lil compare to the others. =(

after awhile, i felt like the room is spinning, yes, i started feeling giddy after a feel puffs.
gosh, I don’t feel good at all.

like what my lil sister say, pay to torture yourself. very true.

the bill turns out to be rm227.70.

As most of you know, my family and the boyfriend didn’t like me to put on a heavy dramatic make up. But hello, I don’t want to go out with dark circles, and eye bags which make me look like a dead corpse. First of all, make sure you face is sort of flawless .

I clean my face, then applied moisturizer, a thin layer of BB cream, and concealer to cover up my eyebags. For better effect, do not apply foundation. Otherwise, it will lose it naturality.

Woosh, my skin looks so healthy now. But still, lack of glow.

& for my eyes, I will use Two-Timer Mascara.
Two Brushes, One Formula, Endless Possibilities.

Two timer : lashalot & finetune.

Why mascara? according to Ringo, mascara is always allowed even though you don’t put make up. I have always agree with that. Mascara gave an illusion to others that you have a big big eyes with the thick and curled lashes without needing you to stick on a fake lash which is a BIG NO NO for archeiving a natural look.

Good enough, two timer mascara gave the effect of as if I am wearing a fake lash. AWESOMEness!
Oh yea, because of the finetune, I will be able to apply mascara to my bottom lashes too.

I applied mascara in a way that it lengthened and separated my lashes instead of applying it in the dramatic way, cause it will look much more natural this way.

Down Boy blush is next.
I like their packaging, so vintage.

The good-for-you talc & paraben-free formula is made of fine-graded powder for a smooth, even texture. The light reflecting particles give off an aura of elegance while the subtle shimmer catches the eye so when she can’t keep the boys away, she can blame it on the blush. Now, this is cheeky.

This is a little rosier than what I usually use.

I do this (look at the photo below) when I apply blusher to make sure, & brush it outwards.
p.s. – I left my brush somewhere else, so yea, I use a small one here. *big brush works better.

I got in love instantly with this new blusher which is slightly rosier,
As it enchances my cheek color without overdoing and giving it a healthy glow.

Balm shelter, a tinted gloss with SPF 17.

I don’t normally apply tinted gloss, but I will give it a try.

It soothe, moisturize, and protect your lips from damaging UV rays while keeping you looking sexy.
Also, it works really well for natural make up as it has not much color pay off and its shade is close too my lips color.

It isn’t sticky and I felt so good with it.

Lastly, it’s the sexy mama.
I applied it last because I had already apply BB cream before anything else,
and this powder will help me to obtain a smooth finish.

I love the way it leaves not powder trace on your face, a lot.

& Tadah, DONE!
