Well. Birthday post again! ╮(╯▽╰)╭
I know right, but this post is gonna be my last birthday post. It’s my birthday dinner! Apparently, Jordan found PLOY @ Work, Clearwater, Damansara Heights, through internet, & very tempted to give it a try since they have a tons of good comments!
“Ploy” means “gem” in Thai, this restaurant is all about Modern Asian cuisine. Inspired by the gems of Japanese and Thai cuisine, the interplay of the various flavours – sweet, salty, spicy, sour and umami.
For drinks, there’s choice of beer, cocktails, coffee, to fresh juices & many others.
I first ordered, Magarita, & feel its a little to heavy for the dinner and so I got myself an Apple Sour, basically fresh apple juice with frozen sour plum ice cube in it, so instead of getting tasteless when the ice melts it actually get sour, very interesting, & refreshing too! i like it a lot. ♥
To start, we shared a dont-know-call-what salad.
i forgotten the name, but this is definitely one of my favorite salad.
Butterfish over rice.
It’s raw butterfish, jordan ordered this & i thought i will not like it because i am never a fan of raw fish. Took the courage to give it a try, & it’s surprisingly good. The butterfish is very well marinated, the natural sweetness is irresistable.
Angelhair shrimp with cream.
PLOY’s red rubies.
water chestnut w/ shaved coconut.
guess both of us are satisfied with the meal, & it’s a happy dinner!
thank you, jordan, for the great dinner. (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡
Next up, birthday celebration with my family.❤
Then, we headed out for lunch at La-bodega.
There because they offer everything from pastas to tapas to burgers and, is always delicious!
My brother ordered the La-Bodega famous cheese burger topped up with bacons & ham.
also served with french fries & salad.
Champinoes Al Ajillo, button mushrooms sautéed with butter, garlic and parsley.
this is my all time favorite in La Bodega, super yums! d=(´▽｀)
My birthday lunch/dinner is always blessed with food, good food.
I truly live up the saying of we live to eat.
Well, this is a family selfie of mine. ヽ(愛´∀｀愛)ノ
Some thoughts just came in to my mind as I was reading the purpose driven life.
I read that our spiritual family is more important than our physical family because it will last forever. Our family on earth is wonderful gift from God, but they are temporary & fragile, often broken by divorce, distance, growing old, and inevitably death.
that’s all for now.
ヾ(^_^) cheers!! ❤
