Penang : Day 2/Pt. 3 : Sunset Bay Bistro

May 21st, 2010 by tziaaa

Location : Sunset Bay Bistro, Batu Ferrigghi
If you come from Georgetown, the hotel should be on your right. Turn in at the first junction right after the hotel, then, turn left. Sunset Bistro should be on your right.

we reached there on bout 6p.m.
Like what its name suggests, i was told that this is a great place to watch the sun set over the water.

114

ordered drinks (coconut, chilled beer & sex on the beach) and some finger food to noms while waiting for the sun to set. the food is good, the price is reasonable too. Totally worth it with it’s ambiance and all.

Food: 7/10
Ambience: 9/10
Music: 8/10 34

日落是一天中最美的时刻, 但它消失的太快了,
更让我深切地体會到夕阳无限好只是近黄昏之意。

只愿我有小叮當的神奇法寶,能把一切美好時光給鎖住。

94

& this is the bistro, decorated prettily with heaps of colorful lightings.

124

dim candlelight with soft background music made an awesome combination.
their satay that tastes more like chicken kebab though. heh!

115

True enough, the breath-taking scenery is gone is such a short time.
but in a happier note, i shall be thankful that God end our day so beautifully.
203

cheers.

p.s. - Thanks Baby Von for recommending Sunset Bay Bistro, Batu Ferriggh. It’s simply mind-blowing.

Penang : Day 2/Pt. 2

May 20th, 2010 by tziaaa

Went back to the hotel after beach.
Got our self cleaned up and changed before we are out hunting for food again.

i have been eye-ing on maxi dresses for quite a long time, it’s always either too long for my height or it’s too expensive. But but but, I finally found one a day before my penang trip, the length was alright even though i am high-heels-less, the cutting was alright too, and, the price is only rm39.90!  *bigwidesmile

110

Oh, boyfriend bought this maxi for me.
*lovessssssssssssss

33

Seriously, what I love most in TuneHotel is their mirrorS and lighting that is so perfect for camwhore purpose!

53

Then, it’s time for FOOD again!
thought of having something lighter, so we went for ROJAK and ICEKACANG with FRUITS @…

SIN SEI KAI
Lorong Swattow,
10500 Penang.

63

ICEKACANG with FRUITS
RM4 with 6 types of fruits. *slurrpsss
sweet things are always my favorite.

73

ROJAK

83

They also ordered OTAK OTAK. I never like OTAK OTAK.
& this one somehow looks like baby hershey’s poop. -.-

103

Next destination was KEK LOK SHI.

113

Trying to imitate ‘em kao kao.
shhsshhh, i know i am a poser.

123

& this lion thingy seems like asking me to stop annoying him. ugh.

153

that’s him posed for me straight when I point my camera at him. heh!!

133

& this looks so much like…

“will you go far far far far away with me?”
“far far far far far far far away? *bigwateryeyes?”

hahahahahaha!

*p.s. - never know my hair is already that long, wootss!

163

the happy girl with her “trafficlight” ice cream!

173

my favorite photo among all!
the blue blue sky is just too pretty, & my baby G10 seriously amazed me. *smile

183

human went cuckoo! heh!
there’s bears, minnie mickey mouse, & a cute pig!

193

that’s all for this time.
next post will be a sunset post at Sunset Bay Bistro.

203

Penang : Day 2/Pt. 1

May 19th, 2010 by tziaaa

The second day at Penang was beach day! We spent almost the entire day at beach.
I was pretty excited bout it, woke up 6 in the morning, and started to get ready!

one vain shot. heh!

26

I forced the half-asleep boyfriend to join me.
look at his puffy eyes, so cute!

32

*got all ready up

more vain shots.
blame the mirrorS for tempting me.

42

Penang people are as lazy as Subang people, they are probably still all asleep when we’re up hunting for food. all shops were still closed, so, we randomly stopped by at some kopitiam for breakfast.

sadly, MILOAIS happened to be the best among all. -.-

52

Then, off we head to BATU FERRINGHI.
Thankiew Mr.GPS!

62

The beach was quite empty.

& we actually got “persuaded” to go on a banana boat for 15minutes with the price of rm15 each.
that guy said it’s morning, that’s why he gave us a morning discount, as it supposed to be rm20 each.

i then wonder, if there’s also noon discount or night discount. hmmm.

us, before “boating”. heh!

72

the girls.

82

it’s was quite a great experience, &  i thought i had just lost a few pounds.
as it seems like i was so freaking light because i actually got blew off for a few times, ern, yea.

got all wet.
still, we had fun.

93

sun bath for awhile with the intention to dry up faster. lol.
& then, started snapping vain pics again.

ok la, i know you spot my fats already.
but, I am in penang, food heaven, couldn’t help!
*trying hard to find excuse, ahem!

102

feeling the morning breeze.
exposing myself fully to the sunlight!

112

I love beach so much to an extent that I placed BORABORA in my dream list, and told the boyfriend it will be good best if we can go to BORABORA for honey moon next time. Imma explore the most romantic island in the world! The crystal clear water is just irresistible; ahhhhhh! I want to go diving there!

Sadly, Penang beach isn’t blue, it’s rather greenish.
*point at the background

122

Nevermind, i shall go Jet Ski-ing!

132

Realize the change in my position? heh!
I am never a good driver, not even in controlling the Jet Ski. FML.

142

This is what they did while boyfriend and I were jet-ski-ing.
Guess it’s pretty true that vain people will usually have vain friends, it’s an aura. woots!

oh yes, this is the exact expression shown by SC.

162

more photos after jet ski.

the friends forever pose, spot the matching yellow bottoms!

192

I love this photos, because it somewhat make me looks like i have got long legs!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

172

playing around with shadows.

201

212

baby-ku.

221

we brought kites along.
yes, we are going to fly kites!

232

fixing fixing fixing.

242

baby boyfriend flying…

251

…kites.

oh, we have no blue sea, but at least, there’s till blue blue sky.

261

that’s all for now!

cheers.

December 10th, 2009 by tziaaa

Rushed down to Kampar & got all the way back to KL again this morning, just to attend a 10 mins consultation session. *geram. My adviser insisted that he has to see me first before he could help me to update my student profile, otherwise, I would not be able to register for next semester. How “kind” of him? How much I wish my adviser to be someone else, for instant, mel’s and shas’s advisers. At least, save them from all these craps, theirs are done just through a an email. ugh!

Thanks, mom for fetching me. and the lil sister for accompanying. They somehow have the abilities to make thing seems to be “not-so-bad”. Happy to say, the journey was quite fun with both of them, it was full with laughter. :)

There’s lightning and thunder when we reached home, but ironically, no rain.
at the same time, Elton text me, and ask for out for photoshooting.

It was sort of drizzling when he picked me up. I prayed to Lord that it wouldn’t rain.
& Amen Lord, it really didn’t rain. The weather was amazing. Not sunny, but bright enough.

this is the first outdoor photo shoot session that I did not sweat throughout the whole thing. :) awesome!

img_4324

elton teo, we had a stress free photo shooting session.
as in like, I was basically jumping and playing around while he did the shooting. :)

never had so much fun doing it.

img_4319

some of the spot that where we did the photoshooting:
you may start guessing where I did my photo shoot.

img_4328

img_4338

&  sneak peek, taken by Elton using my baby G10.

img_4350

I can’t wait to get all those photo shoot photos from him! ♥
but he has got so much work to do, maybe I should bribe him with my oh-so-cute smile.

teehee!

Hari Raya Haji holiday

November 29th, 2009 by tziaaa

It was Hari Raya Haji, a public holiday, which means no class. The boyfriend came to pay me a visit, have got no plan, but we didn’t want to spend our day rotting at home. & so, together with another couple, we went to Sungkai Klah Hot Spring. It was a sunny day, and we went to hot spring, how brilliant? ha. & I almost got sun burn. :s

Didn’t bring my camera with me, cause I just want to have fun. :)
however, still capture a few photos using my lousy handphone camera.

bii’s and mine.
thereupatic park’s water reflexology.

27112009224

a photo of us.

271120092262

and one photo of them, sueaen and shas fung.
shas trying hard to cover up his fat belly. hee!

271120092281

after that, we went to a famous restaurant at Bidor to have our lunch.
I have forgotten the name of the restaurant, but, it’s hell damm crowded.

duck mee, anyone?
duck mee was just alright, but well, they are famous for their wan tan mee.

27112009237

had a little rest after that.

*ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz*

at night, met up with shas again at Ipoh, and we went to have very good seafood for dinner.

* I am having terrible ulcer that time, but i didn’t care much *
i thought good food is more important than anything.

we went to this restaurant which is really famous with their seafood at Ipoh’s old town.

img_3878

didn’t see any signboard of the restaurant.
saw only this half gone small banner with “nan guo xiao shi” written on it.

guess, that’s the name of the restaurant.

img_3875

okay. foods

ham dam hai, salted egg crab. my fav!
I find the sweetness of the crab meat with the saltiness of the salted egg to be the best combination.

& this is probably the best salted egg crab i ever had! it’s simple awesome!

img_3834

also, we had deep fried sotong.
this is another finger licking good one, i just couldn’t have enough of it!

img_3844

next was, lala soup.
hearts the lala, but the wine ginger soup is a lil too spicy for me. :(

i can’t take spicy food, and they say I am not qualify to be a Malaysian. @.@

img_3845

wat tan hor.
the thick egg gravy caught my hearts. slurrpppsss!

img_3841

this looks like hokkien mee to me, but they call this “dai tiu min”/”da tiao mian”
it’s delightful, of course.

I had one big bowl of this!

img_3847

i love chicken wings, yes, i do.
the boyfriend ordered this, just for me.

this might not be the best chicken wings i had, but it’s good enough to satisfy me. :)

img_3836

everyone was so busy eating, and have not time for photo.

img_3855

after making sure that i had already satisfied my stomach,
with my crab smelled hand, i took out my camera….

img_3850

& started flashing all around.

img_3866

the boyfriend. ^^

img_3824

shas & sueean, again.

img_3862

the meal was real satisfying.
all of us love it, and the cleaned plate is the prove. :)

thanks shas, for recommending this place. *lovesssss

img_3871

&, my ulcer, gone case.
after stuffing myself with fruits and vitamin C for days, it doesn’t seems to be recovering.
in fact, it got even worst after the meal.

p.s. - it has been so for more than a week. :(

boyfriend that brought me to the doctor, doctor apply some sort of acid on it. it was so painful that I was literally screaming with tears in my eyes. the doctor said my condition was kinda bad. & boyfriend told me he saw blood and pus coming out from the wound when the doctor apply the medicine.

& this is how it looks like now, it’s drying already. thanks, God.

img_3956

that’s all for now. cheers. :)

Sungkai Klah

July 9th, 2009 by tziaaa

For Introduction to Advertising assignment, my group is chosen to do an advertising research & a consumer research for Felda Sungkai Klah. & so, we went to visit Felda Sungkai Klah for the very first time in order to complete our assignment.

It’s a monday, after our communicative engliah class we went there straight.
It took us about 45 mins to reach there from Kampar. The distance of Sungkai Klah hot spring from Sungkai exit toll is about 10km. Entrance fee is RM10 for adult and RM8 for children between 3 to 11 years old. As for us, we went in for free, thanks to Ms. Farlina’s approval letter. *bigwidesmile*

Shas, Andrew & Minyee became the interviewers of the day;
while Melanie became the secretary of the day;
& last but not least, me, as the photographer of the day.

We were brought to have a look at the fully equipped and comfortable villas & also the lower budget chalet rooms.

Villa A type - 2 rooms and costs RM600/night during weekdays and RM800/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Villa B type - 1 room and costs RM450/night during weekdays and RM600/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Villa C type- 3 rooms and costs RM800/night during weekdays and RM1000/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Oh yea, did I mentioned that the villas have their very own private Jacuzzi, a totally awesome way to enjoy a relaxing bathe with family.

While the Chalet Standard Deluxe Rooms would cost RM180/night and RM220/night on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

While we were waiting for Encik Wan, the interviewee, we walked around the resort & saw there’s a few people eating durians over there. Minyee & Andrew went to interview the customer who was eating durian over there.

and for the rest of us, Shas said we have to learn to be more thick skin. So yea, 3 of us, shas, mel & me went to join them makan durian sama sama.

couldn’t blame us, Durian is irresistable. yea.

Finally when the clock struck three, Encik Wan, the landscrapper arrived.

Had a short interview session with him, and found out that not far from the resort, there are several private industries that provide activities such as flying fox, jungle trekking, and stream trotting. There are also “orang asli” heritage houses not far from the resort.

Right after the interview session ends, we went to the Hot Spring Pool. It’s drizzling when we reach there, as such, it’s really comfortable to sunk your entire body into the warm water.

our interviewing job never stop. =)

still, we all had fun.

the girls in the group.

Besides, the another main attraction for the hot spring is none other than the small boiling hot spring which reaches the temperature of 100 celcius which people use to boil eggs.

You could buy the egg from the cafeteria at the price of rm2 for 5.

we bought 5, and is just enough for 5 of us. awesome.

1/4 boiled - 2 mins
1/2 boiled - 3 mins
3/4 boiled - 4 mins
fully boiled - 6-7 mins

We later on move on to the thereupatic park.

The park has several hot spring pool at different degrees of temperature.
The one that I remember best is the water reflexology which visitors can walk barefoot along the tarmac walkway that is covered with streams of hot water and reflexology stones to maximize the effort of the therapy. I seriously have no idea why people loves it so much. To me, it’s more like torturing me.

I prefer the pool beside the walkway that allow us to dip our leg or full body in it.
I feel like I am being boiled at first, but later on it’s pretty comfortable.

Shas sunk his whole body in and after that he claims that his neck sprain problems is cure which amazed me much. I always heard people say that natural hot spring has healing properties, and now i see how true it is.

me legs turn red when I got up from the pool.

Last stop, the Mountain Spring Pool inside the hot spring park.  It source of water is the mountain spring water. It was said and supposed to be cold, but, on that day i went, it’s rather warm.

Still, I enjoyed much, because…
There’s this gigiantic slide in the middle of the pool.

You people might think, still small meh? play slides?
That’s what I thought in the first place. But right after my 1st attempt, I got addicted.
yes, it’s fun especially if you have a whole group of people slide down together.

Also, there’s this waterfall splash somewhere beside the huge octopus that act as OSIM. yea, the messaging chair/machine? we stood under it for quite awhile and enjoyed the pleasant of getting free water massage. *what to do, we failed to get free spa.*

After that, we went to shower and continue our interview session for awhile. Just when we concluded everything, out stomach started to make noise. Planned to go to Bidor for dinner, turned around at Bidor, and in the end, ended up having our dinner at Lou Wong, Ipoh.

It’s much nicer than the last time I went, or is it I am way to hungry?

Went back to Kampar after that, it’s indeed a tiring yet enjoyable trip.

p.s. - I don’t mind doing such assignment. teehee.

p.p.s. - I had combined all the photos as I am using all these for my assignment.

Camp Fire Night, The Ship Wrecked

June 25th, 2009 by tziaaa

Last weekend, got back from Kampar have sips of mom’s cook soup and went out to attend SMK Seafield 104th Scouts Camp Fire Night, The Ship Wrecked with some other ex board members.

Theme - Ship Wrecked.

The backdrop, pirates’ treasure hunt map?

The backstage, the crew, & the props.

Props too? I wonder.

I like their brochure a lot. Simple yet nice.

Event kicked off when the clock struck seven with the opening act, which also better know as the handphone act & the introducing of the emcees of the night.

the 3 emcees of the night, xiashuen, deming & justin.

The traditional fire performance.

These guys are REAL hot, thanks to the fire.

Inviting the principal of SMK Seafield, Pn.Wang to officiate the event….

… by lighting  up the camp fire.

” scouts” is on fire* if you notice* right after the light up of camp fire.

Pretty, isn’t it?

Follow by the sketch about The pirates.

I am truly amazed by their performing skills.

Right after the 1st part of the sketch is the introduction of the organizing team.

Guess all their hard work are all paid off.

Campfire night is most probably the best for budget event.

Why?

By only paying rm13, you got to enjoy all the awesome performances.

& there’s food for you to fill up your stomach.

The food on that night was not bad, no complain about that though.

Oh yea, the main reason of me being there is my pretty lil sister is performing that night.

Yes, she’s my princess.

Met my high school camwhore kaki there,

& that’s when camera start flashing like nobody else business.

half way through, a cute little girl came to me, and pose for me.

adorable, yes?

Also, we, the ex seafieldians had a nice talk with our principals, Pn wang.

She always say my brother & I is her mad students, for God knows why. lol.

Still, I am glad that she do remember me & my name. *smile*

Pn Wang, yuanshuang & me.

After refreshment session, the event started off again with a boy band performance, THE TEMP.

I heard girls shouting & cheering throughout the performances,
guess those guys must be some kind of eye candies.

I won the best dressed last year, this year thought of dressing up again, but, yea, too lazy.

So yea, best dressed award.

No doubt, all the nominees are really well dressed up. Impressive.

The love tunnel, a game which we, the scouts have in every camp fire night.

& after long waiting, finally, my sister is performing.

The hip hop dance.

my sister? the one right in the middle.

My favorite performance of the night, or maybe, it’s so for most of us.

People were asking for ENCORE.

Oh yea, did I mentioned, campfire night always has a theme with a storyline.

The whole thing is portrayed out through sketches.

& performance.

&, there’s always a happy ending. yea.

The night is still young, & it’s time for the dance floor.

look at this weih, all potential clubbers. lol.

I like the atmosphere though, everyone had fun, which is the most important thing.

Camp fire night had somehow become some sort of gathering for us, the ex board members.

So much fun & experiences I had gain with all these people.

The two ex assitant troop leaders & me.

the ex secretary & the ex training officer.

ugh, I starting to miss those time.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, 104th SCOUTS,

you people rocks!!
