foundation reunion

October 20th, 2009 by tziaaa

first and foremost, i had permed my hair. ^^like it or not, i have already did it, the family and the boyfriend like it pretty much, and I am really glad. I shall blog bout this later as I shall first update a post that I have been dragging for like forever.

went for my Foundation classmates family reunion the other day.

Before i get further, allow me to express my utter disgust towards this certain somebody that has been absent during the gathering. I am glad that she’s absent, actually.  She’s my roommate, before this, I always thought that she is nothing else than an innocent young girl. She has been so sweet, that she has always concern about me, whether I have taken my dinner and things like that.  Also, I am frequently told by her how awesome I am, and how nicely she portrayed me in front of her dear friends. I have to admit that she did pissed me off at times, but hey, she is sweet and lovely and I thought she is just a lil more playful. & on the foundation classmates reunion day itself, I suddenly found out that she is such a terrible backstabber. I got stunt. How could someone who is so innocent turns out being the most terrified backstabber. I was then told that I should I have realize this a year ago, on the first time she back-stabbed me. I couldn’t express enough, as words just couldn’t express my disgust and disappointment. &, I have to tell YOU that you have been such a sad back-stabber, as you words came to me through your our common friends.

Alright, now back to my initial topic. Midvalley, was chosen to be the place for our reunion. We were there also to celebrate the belated birthday of Maggie, our beloved mom, and also, Chan Vingent’s.

img_0654

Went to Sushi King for Sushi Bonanza.

img_0578

Full housed. and we were sitted at the last sit which basically the spot where the “left over” choices of sushi came to us.

img_0604

But thanks to Fanny, we had got all the awesome sushi that they serve less during the sushi bonanza.

img_06031

Midvalley’s Sushi King serves better rice based sushi than the others outlets.
Don’t believe me? You should go try out those at Summit USJ during the sushi bonanza.

kk

I didn’t eat much this time. Either it’s because the boyfriend had fed me with too much good food, or, I have been so obsessed with my camera. Maggie said it’s because of my camera, because of me, the lunch had became a photo session. *laugh.

img_0581

Among us, there’s a tough guy name Vingent that dislikes sushi so freaking much.
Oh, to be exact, he hates seaweed, CHEESE too. *smack forehead

img_0585

Spent much time on gossips and teases which this bunch of people. It was a worried-free conversation.

Then, we move our ass to the Redbox @ The Gardens.

img_0669

threw a surprise birthday celebration for the two.

img_0691

And believe it or not, this is the first time I actually step into a karaoke.
Also as expected, I spent most of my time taking photos.

img_0699

I kept running towards and forward from the screen area adjusting my tripod
and at the same time blocking others view. till they gave him this face:

img_0821

the drinks…

img_0744

we have got very hyper singers in the room.

img_0769

and a very emotional one.

img_0756

also, a jaychou wannabe.

img_0781

Maggie, she plays the main role in the best part of my Foundation life.

img_0762

She threw the dice, and won us a bottle of sparkling juice. ^^

img_0804

& this is my favorite photo of the day. cheers.

img_0819

I enjoyed myself pretty much, and looking forward to have such gathering in the near future.

last but not least, to the certain someone,
never take others trust for granted, that is something that I have learned from previous experience.

I was expecting straight B s’. and now I have got extra 2 As’ and 2 Cs’.
should I cry, or should I laugh?

sigh.

The other day, right after the PLAYBOY event at Midvalley, headed straight to Republic, Pyramid for the Xpax Xberry Party. Of course we still have time to have our dinner at Kimgary before we went over to the party.

the crowd, wasn’t that happening though.

Jiashin and I went with the boyfriends.

Jiashin was there, to collect her NEW Blackberry phone. yes, awesomeness.
while I were there, because Nuffnang is kind enough to give me a pair of invites. yea.

& the boyfriends were there to keep us accompanied. *sweethearts

The decoration was alright, & there were performances too. But, didn’t attract me much.

what I did was…

enjoying the free flows, AND..
socializing camwhoring around with the bloggers…

With their existence, the night wasn’t that bad after all. ^^

cats1

oh yea, I met RUDY from Hitz.fm too.

img_03401

The nuffies – Jestina, David and Carol.

Supposed to join the Nuffies and a few other bloggers for a nightout @ MOS, but, I have got curfew. *sad
Plan cancelled, and left early with the boyfriend together with adelechow.

p.s. – I WANTED to win a Blackberry Curve 8520 using this post. but, I met none of their criteria.

What you need to do stand a chance of winning :

1.      Blog about the XPAX Blackberry Curve 8520 Launch party (tip : include pictures!)

2.      What are your thoughts of having a XPAX Blackberry Curve 8520 in your life? Tell us how why would you love to have it, is it because of the Facebook function? We want to know it all!

3.      Do share Xpax’s fantastic unlimited Blackberry prepaid from as low as RM1.00 per day!

because, I don’t have a single of the performances by DJ Lapsap, Joe Flizzow and Twilight Action Girl. & I know nothing much about Blackberry Curve, I just thought that it is pretty and it’s instant messaging function attracted me much. ^^ I remember Nicholas Chay, the BB user told me how convenient it is.

ok la, i m just too lazy to find out and so on. *it’s menstrual week. :(

Oh yes, 5 down, and 1 more paper to go. =)

Exam week was so hectic, and hardly have sufficient sleep and thanks God that the last paper will be on next Tuesday, I will have enough time to prepare myself and wouldn’t be suffering that much. Putting exam aside, I am back to Subang again yesterday afternoon, and attended Arthur’s day celebration *will update bout it soon.  Today, supposed to watch “Where got Ghost” with the boyfriend, but sadly, failed due to certain reason.

Despite all, I am a happy girl today. Yes, I went for a minor shopping.

DSC08954

I am the most annoying girlfriend ever, I supposed.
I annoyed the boyfriend much with the camera when he’s driving.

I am his most precious one and therefore he had to ENTERTAIN me, still.

& because I fetish Jeans so freaking much more,
demanding enough, I insist the boyfriend to wear jeans too.

DSC08914

we went pyramid. It has been awhile, I used to go there at least 5 days in a week.
Those time, with my girls. However, no longer so. =(

DSC09063

Went to forever21, and got myself a flowery flowery top.

and also, tried on this top that I had eye on since long time ago. Because it doesn’t go well with shorts so I didn’t get it that time. & now when I have a pair of jeans, they don’t have my size anymore. It’s too big, so yea, didn’t get to get this pretty top. *grumpy.

walk around, saw this chio pink handbag that cost only rm20.
without much hesitation, I bought it and loving it.

DSC09077

Then, I am officially broke. boyfriend was kind enough to pay for the rest that I eyed on…

a set of DIVA girls’ favorite pinkish sweets earrings. Gosh, isn’t them cute?

DSC09081

also, a pair of rip curl flip-flops. it’s size 4.
shyt, my feet is getting smaller which increase the possibilities of me falling down. ugh.DSC09075

yes, I can see money flying. I have two choices now.

to stop shopping OR to start working. hmmm, yes, I desperately need a job.

cheers.

DiGi campus road show

September 15th, 2009 by tziaaa

first of all, this post is kind of late. So, yea.

Have been hearing gossips that there will be a DiGi Campus Road Show held inside Utar, but it’s just gossips, perhaps. & so, I got my DiGi campus sim card at Subang. Till that day, just when we leave the main entrance of the main campus, Shas took a turn and stopped his car at the side of West Lake. & just when I about to ask why, I saw the DiGi Campus road show.

DiGi Campus Booth outside UTAR with attractive mock up accessories.

DSC07146

Shas who is now facing a financial crisis is more than happy to see the DiGi campus booth,

as he can now get himself a new DiGi campus sim card.

DSC07130

Wondering why he needs the sim card so badly?

DSC07133

Because by using DiGi campus, he can now save up a lot as DiGi campus allowed you to

make free calls, send F.O.C. messages, also, get to surf the net free.

DSC07131

Of course, t&c applied, like what all said, there’s no free breakfast. ;)

But trust me it’s extremely easy to fulfill the terms & condition.

For calls, it’s the same starting rate, but only DiGi Campus gives free calls after a usage of RM2. All you need to do is to spend an amount of RM2 total daily usage, on calls, SMS, MMS, data or more. Which means your maximum call fees for a day will be only rm2, and the rest will be totally F.O.C as long he/she is in M’sia and using DiGi .

Oh yea, 11 numbers can be stored in their Friends and Family list on DiGi Campus.
& so, user gets to send out free SMS to all favourite numbers all the time. Please do note that no other telecommunication service gives free SMS. Like what I had said, daddy, mummy, sister, brother and boyfriend, plus another 6 girlfriends of mine, it’s exactly 11, good enough. *big wide smile*

As for net surfing, it’s all free after RM30 usage a month compared to credit of RM6/day. That’s an average of only RM1 per day via DiGi Campus.

Last but not lease, as a DiGi sub, you exclusively get to sign up for DiGi Music Unlimited. For time
being, it’s free. Hurry up before it’s too late. è DiGi Music is not exclusive to DiGi Campus subs, but as a DiGi Campus sub (as long as you’re a DiGi sub), you are entitled to sign up for DiGi Music.

DiGi campus package is no doubt a good deal, otherwise we wouldn’t be this desperate to sign up for it. Teehee.

DSC07137

After awhile, I spotted these cute premium items.

The promoter than told me that it’s free gift for those who sign up for DiGi campus.

Okie, I started to regret signing up mine at Subang.

DSC07134

Guess those promoters see my disappointment,

& very nice of them, they gave me a cute DiGi campus car sticker instead. Lol.

I eagerly got it stick on the car, but hell, I have no skills.

& there come the savior of the day, he came over and helped me to get it stick on.

DSC07161

Reconciliation from 10 cent a minute. ;)

DSC07163

DiGi campus always the smarter choice. *wink.

timetable

September 2nd, 2009 by tziaaa

n523521424_3019531_1644259

today was crazy, i thought it was meant to go down to drain. the morning has been so crummy. early morning, i went melanie’s house together with minyee to get my semester 2 course registration done. it’s indeed a war.

A few hundred human was fighting to sign up for the french language class because UTAR only offer 30 sits for the subject. & the main reason of us fighting over it is because it’s on saturday, which mean we will only need to go for 2 days classes in a week, as another subject is on friday.

8.31a.m. – we login
8.33a.m. – someone suggested us to re-login
8.34a.m. – melanie got in to the french class, signed up for shunzhi, and took up and extra subject, moral.
8.35a.m. – minyee and I signed in, and french class is FULLED. even moral class is FULLED.

blardy hell. why does shyt always cone in combo.

conclusion.
melanie only need to attend classes on thrusday, friday and saturday which means we will be able to go back to KL right after those classes on saturday till the next wednesday. 5 days, good enough.

the pitiful minyee and I will need to attend classes on tuesday, friday and saturday. yes, japanese class is spilt into 2 days. lecture on saturday, and tutorial on tuesday. Which also means that we will need to stuck in kampar on wed and thrusday doing nothing going back to KL only on saturday after class and get back to kampar again on monday. *huge discontentment

and at that moment, some idiot thoughts came through our mind. we actually wanted to drop off japanese and took up TAMIL so that our class will be on wed, thrus, and fri which basically means that we will be able to stay in KL longer.

called up my mom.
me : hello mummy, i might be taking up TAMIL because……*the long story.
mom : huh…. you want to become indian uh??!! *laughhh
me : nola…. =.=
mom : don’t want la. *laughhh
me : =.= ok… bye.

minyee called up her mom, funny shyt happened too. In the end, both of us were stuck in the sucky timetable still. T__T

During IPC class in the noon, minyee randomly log in into UTAR portal, and RANDOMLY realize that UTAR actually open up new japanese tutorial classes which is on saturday. I guess we are the 1st few that realize that, quickly, we changed the tuesday class to saturday.

Mel then suggested us to check on the Moral class. & everything seems to took a turn to the better side. we saw 3 slots available, minyee and I somehow were the last 2 that got into the class.

*happy enough

as a conclusion, next sem, my class will only be on thrus, fri, and saturday! *jump in excitement

okay, i know it’s a boring post. I supposed to blog about some interesting events that happened lately together with tonnes of beautiful photos.

but, I am not.

curse my camera!

rants

July 15th, 2009 by tziaaa

got my student i.d., and i am satisfied with it.

sharper jaw line I have, my classmates said I slimmed down quite a lot. But nop, in fact, i gained a few kilo. it’s just braces that had fixed my jaw line. Saw jamie’s post the other day about that how amazing braces is. Never realize it, till today. =)

btw, i couldn’t understand why some of the utarians have to be so mean, or they are just plainly lack of entertainment? whatever it is, i don’t like them. not at all.

heard something that irritated us much from classmate’s ex lecturer.

dear all, only bitches bitch about others.
think before you call other a bitch.

p.s. – garnier sunblock (purple) + mascara = thick make up? =.=

Sungkai Klah

July 9th, 2009 by tziaaa

For Introduction to Advertising assignment, my group is chosen to do an advertising research & a consumer research for Felda Sungkai Klah. & so, we went to visit Felda Sungkai Klah for the very first time in order to complete our assignment.

It’s a monday, after our communicative engliah class we went there straight.
It took us about 45 mins to reach there from Kampar. The distance of Sungkai Klah hot spring from Sungkai exit toll is about 10km. Entrance fee is RM10 for adult and RM8 for children between 3 to 11 years old. As for us, we went in for free, thanks to Ms. Farlina’s approval letter. *bigwidesmile*

Shas, Andrew & Minyee became the interviewers of the day;
while Melanie became the secretary of the day;
& last but not least, me, as the photographer of the day.

We were brought to have a look at the fully equipped and comfortable villas & also the lower budget chalet rooms.

Villa A type – 2 rooms and costs RM600/night during weekdays and RM800/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Villa B type – 1 room and costs RM450/night during weekdays and RM600/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Villa C type- 3 rooms and costs RM800/night during weekdays and RM1000/night during weekend, school holidays and public holidays.
Oh yea, did I mentioned that the villas have their very own private Jacuzzi, a totally awesome way to enjoy a relaxing bathe with family.

While the Chalet Standard Deluxe Rooms would cost RM180/night and RM220/night on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

While we were waiting for Encik Wan, the interviewee, we walked around the resort & saw there’s a few people eating durians over there. Minyee & Andrew went to interview the customer who was eating durian over there.

and for the rest of us, Shas said we have to learn to be more thick skin. So yea, 3 of us, shas, mel & me went to join them makan durian sama sama.

couldn’t blame us, Durian is irresistable. yea.

Finally when the clock struck three, Encik Wan, the landscrapper arrived.

Had a short interview session with him, and found out that not far from the resort, there are several private industries that provide activities such as flying fox, jungle trekking, and stream trotting. There are also “orang asli” heritage houses not far from the resort.

Right after the interview session ends, we went to the Hot Spring Pool. It’s drizzling when we reach there, as such, it’s really comfortable to sunk your entire body into the warm water.

our interviewing job never stop. =)

still, we all had fun.

the girls in the group.

Besides, the another main attraction for the hot spring is none other than the small boiling hot spring which reaches the temperature of 100 celcius which people use to boil eggs.

You could buy the egg from the cafeteria at the price of rm2 for 5.

we bought 5, and is just enough for 5 of us. awesome.

1/4 boiled – 2 mins
1/2 boiled – 3 mins
3/4 boiled – 4 mins
fully boiled – 6-7 mins

We later on move on to the thereupatic park.

The park has several hot spring pool at different degrees of temperature.
The one that I remember best is the water reflexology which visitors can walk barefoot along the tarmac walkway that is covered with streams of hot water and reflexology stones to maximize the effort of the therapy. I seriously have no idea why people loves it so much. To me, it’s more like torturing me.

I prefer the pool beside the walkway that allow us to dip our leg or full body in it.
I feel like I am being boiled at first, but later on it’s pretty comfortable.

Shas sunk his whole body in and after that he claims that his neck sprain problems is cure which amazed me much. I always heard people say that natural hot spring has healing properties, and now i see how true it is.

me legs turn red when I got up from the pool.

Last stop, the Mountain Spring Pool inside the hot spring park.  It source of water is the mountain spring water. It was said and supposed to be cold, but, on that day i went, it’s rather warm.

Still, I enjoyed much, because…
There’s this gigiantic slide in the middle of the pool.

You people might think, still small meh? play slides?
That’s what I thought in the first place. But right after my 1st attempt, I got addicted.
yes, it’s fun especially if you have a whole group of people slide down together.

Also, there’s this waterfall splash somewhere beside the huge octopus that act as OSIM. yea, the messaging chair/machine? we stood under it for quite awhile and enjoyed the pleasant of getting free water massage. *what to do, we failed to get free spa.*

After that, we went to shower and continue our interview session for awhile. Just when we concluded everything, out stomach started to make noise. Planned to go to Bidor for dinner, turned around at Bidor, and in the end, ended up having our dinner at Lou Wong, Ipoh.

It’s much nicer than the last time I went, or is it I am way to hungry?

Went back to Kampar after that, it’s indeed a tiring yet enjoyable trip.

p.s. – I don’t mind doing such assignment. teehee.

p.p.s. – I had combined all the photos as I am using all these for my assignment.
