The other day, the boyfriend randomly suggested to go for some “healthier” activities instead of our usual lifeless & “unhealthy” daily routine. He came out with a brilliant idea which I first refuse to join him.

Guess what we did, with the knife the red thingy which I don’t know what it is.

yes, yours truly went fishing prawning.
No doubt, it’s something really new to me. I didn’t even went fishing before.

went with the boyfriend, and AH TOK!

On the first hour, ah tok & me failed to fish any prawn.
but boyfriend already caught 2, actually it’s only one. The other one he “rasuah-ed”.

tick tock, tick tock, time passed.

I learned that it requires a certain level of skill to jerk the rod on the moment when the prawn bites,
otherwise, the prawn might just ate the hum and swim off.
as a conclusion, I still got nothing.

Started to feel really bored.
I then threw my rod aside, and started camwhoring.

boyfriend, waiting patiently.

Ah tok got nothing too, he then started to get busy with his phone.
playing some fishing game with his very canggih phone, trying hard to learn some skills from it.

He told bii:” If i failed to prawn pawn, i will pawn you!”

Everyone in the shop was looking at me when I started camwhoring, I paiseh, like yeaaa.
& so I started killing my time by chopping the red thingy. it’s like I am playing MASAK MASAK, they said.

suddenly my rod moved, I got so intense, & without a second thought, I pulled my rod ignoring those skills which they said it’s important after failing so badly in the previous attempts, and surprisingly, I succeeded in getting myself the first prawn.

I was so excited, and started to think it wasn’t that bad after all. No more complains about how bored I am right after I caught the 1st prawn. Satisfaction, overwhelmed.

I did nothing after that but staring at the indicator of my rod, check whether it sank into the water which indicating the weight on the rod. If it sank, it means, there’s prawns that hooked on my rod already, & it’s time to jerk the rod. wee!

I caught 2 prawns in 2 and a half hour time. It’s very little, but I am pretty satisfied already. ^^
ah tok got one in the very end, while the others was caught by the boyfriend.

went back to the boyfriend’s place and it’s time to prepare the “cheesy butter prawn”.
it’s so easy that all of you could have try if you have prawns in your fridge.

Boyfriend’s aunt first helped us to clean the prawns
& marinated it with pepper and butter.

put the cheese on the aluminum foil, followed by the marinated prawns and butter.
if you are a cheese lover like me, put more cheese on the top of the prawns before you fold it up.

after that place it into a toaster/oven for about 20 mins.

Then, tadah, it’s good to be served.
it smells good and tastes even better.
