NN Awards Night

First of all, this post will be a very long post with heaps of photos which I have been editing these overnight. I didn’t get into insert all photos that I have taken that night as its really too many. & I had deleted some of those that are blur or went out of focus too.

Anyway, I really wish you could bare with this long post. ^^

So yea, it was Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2009 held in S’pore. We departed from NN Office on 7am, and omgosh we reached S’pore on 2.30pm, then get to check in to Link Hotel on 5pm. Have 1hour time to get our self dolled up.

Was on a dilemma on what to wear, and after some discussion with the girls, and in the end I chose to a leopard print tube dress which I got from Forever21 some time ago that I have never wear before. I like that dress a lot, pretty much is because it’s super body hugging. It’s hard to find XS size in Forever21 cause Malaysian are basically very small size, so yea!

Make up make up. It has been awhile since I drew eyeliner and put on fake eye lashes because the family and the boyfriend didn’t like it, light make up will do, they said. I would say I have kinda heavy make up that night, not quite use to it though. Not just me, Adele too.

I had terrible red right eye that night. *sigh!

and my curled hair, I can do nothing much with it. & I chose to tied it up.

Got all ready, and just when I got out from the room. Some words from certain someone just dragged my mood to the lowest point on that particular time, just somehow. I didn’t know a compliment can have such mean return.

I wonder, it’s a grand event, but is it a MUST to wear a gown. If yes, forgive my ignorant as I had seen pretty much celebrities attending dinner and grand event with short, body hugging leopard print dresses. Alright, it’s enough, I guess I shan’t go any further with this topic.

& the venue of the grand event was located at the Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore.

Before the event started off:

& I am shock that she is so much smaller in size than what I have expected.

he is so freaking busy yet he will spend time listen to me making rants. how great is it?

Also, boss tim with a smile on his face 24/7.

I went back to my table, and sit still, when the night started off with a video of Nuffnang’s milestone and how it all began in the early 2007 at Penang. I like the part where Boss Tim & Boss Ming animation jumping and dancing on the screen. It’s so effing cute!

It then followed by a meaningful speech by the 2 co-founder.

Food is served half way through the show.
We then swapped our concentration to the food instead, it’s like, most of us have been starving for one whole day.

marinated smoked tuna with feta, Herbs salad, and balsamic olive oil.
To be honest, I prefer the cube cheese in it more than the smoke tuna itself.

so happy when the food is finally served! *slurppssss

Light cream of asparagus and green peas topped with chive mousseline.
yes, creamy soup is always my favorite. It’s yummy, and I have no idea why Adele didn’t like it.

& the last course meal was Rosemary Marinated Chicken Breast with Saffron Cheesy Mash Potato and Balsamic Reduction Mediterranean Vegetable in Mango Coriander Salsa Sauce. long name, I know.

but, i love this dish, especially the cheesy mash potato. *heaven!

Got back, and desserts is served and the award presentation continued.

I love sweet stuff, a lot, but this is a lil too sweet for me though.
