IPOH Cafe: Ben & Lynette ❤

Was on a trip to IPOH with my “morethancolleagues” two months back. While we were planning our itinerary, I insisted that we have to visit some of the coffee houses in Ipoh. ٩(^ᴗ^)۶

Hence, Ben & Lynette is our first choice since they are one of the most talk-about cafe in Ipoh. It is set in a beautiful colonial bangalow, a little tucked away in the back lanes. However, not too hard to find with a GPS.

Fell in love with this place upon arrival. The whole place is so beautifully decorated with mainly retro and vintage oriented stuff. Even the outdoor section can be such a comfortable spot, we settled down & chilled there for hours.(♥ω♥ ) ~♪

Sofa. EK felt asleep here (it must be too comfy!)

Mono-toned setting, bringing back a sense of nostalgia.

Cakes, & desserts!

Ben & Lynette has a wide range for food selection, they even have a sandwich bar!
I heard their sandwich is pretty good; Unfortunately, we were all too full to give it a try.

But anyhoo, their cakes look super tempting too! (ˆ ڡ ˆ)
I have to try, I just have to; Otherwise, I will regret, I know.

The 90s’ Candy. Blast from the past.

Reliving the childhood yo! If you grew up in the ’90s, you know exactly what I am talking about! These candies are all over the cafe. It sure brought back many memories, it was sweet to be a 90s’ kid.

Retro scooter!
This is super cool. I always wanted to have a scooter like this!

Coffee, the warmth, the smell, the taste; It got me addicted!
Also the only bitterness I love in my life, haha.

In life, all you need is love, & more coffee. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Caffe Latte (RM10).
Very decent cup of coffee, I like it stronger with lesser milk.

Chocolate Praline (RM12.90).

A layer of praline fudge sandwiches between two layers of chocolate fudge.
So fat, but it’s good! (ﾉ≧ڡ≦)

My all time toilet partner. She caught my attention the first day she joined us. I have been telling her “你很美“, for a million times. Haha. She is so effortlessly pretty, big eyes, & extremely fair/good skin. Very soft spoken, & a good listener! ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ) #toobadsheistaken

Definitely one of the most kind hearted person I’ve met.
He rarely say no to any of our request! (*^▽^*)

We work together during the weekdays, & hang out together during the weekends (simply because seeing each other 5 days a week isn’t enough, oh well). We also served as an ear to each other to bounce all our complains off after work.

We communicates through facial expressions, & in code/terms which only us will understand. (e.g. waterfall)
They are the reasons why I look forward to work everyday.
