& here come the second post that will decide whether I will get to the First Asia Pacific Blog Awards on this coming 23rd October or not. and yea, God bless. :)
I should be given this opportunity to experience the rich blend in culture, cuisine, arts and architecture of Singapore because I will have the chance to go shopping on 4am in the morning at Singapore’s 23 hours mall. Oh well, I am already dead BROKE again, I will tell you why in the next post perhaps, yet, I just can’t stop thinking about shopping as all said Singapore is a heaven for shopaholics. Also, I want to taste the good food in Singapore, pamper myself with one of the Asia’s biggest outdoor spa, go on a boat ride, swimming with pink dolphin… etc…
This will be my ideal itinerary for a day trip if I were to visit Singapore:
For breakfast, I would like to visit the infamous, Nam Sing Hokkien Friend Prawn Mee (Hougang) located at the old airport road. It opens at 11am, good enough, I might just got up from bed. ^^
Next, is to go on shopping in Orchard which is the the premier shopping belt today, the heaven of all shopaholics. wee~ oh yes, at the same time, I should prepare to get BROKE again. ugh.
I am sure I will still be very energetic after finish shopping as I will be very excited with my purchase. And so, I would like to have the chance to swim with the pink dolphins at Sentosa. If I am lucky enough, i might also get a kiss from the adorable pink dolphin. *wanderrrr….
Okay, after that, I guess I will be pretty exhausted. I should now retreat myself with a restorative and peaceful tropical outdoor spa at the Botanic Spa, Sentosa. I will choose the Travel Tonic package which will definitely made you feel rejuvenated in 1 and a half hour time.
Travel Tonic – This relaxing back massage is recommended for travellers suffering from muscle tension and other aches and pain. Stretch out and relax with a hot ball compress and back massage plus a therapeutic leg treatment. The leg balm cools aching limbs and eases fluid retention after application.
which includes :
hot compress and back massage 60 mins
soothing leg treatment 30 mins
After that, I would want to have some more chilling activities such as enjoying a scenic ride along the Singapore river. Spend time taking photos of the beautiful scenery and at the same time absorb the cool breeze during the journey.
I would then stop by at the Clark Quay, and have my dinner at the Quayside Seafood which is probably the longest absolute riverfront restaurant space in Singapore! It has a very relaxing ambiance, soothed by piped-in music. Non the less, the food is said to be good too. Spicy chili crabs? hmmm, how could I missed it?
Last but not least, Chinatown and Little India. The two busiest spot when night falls. First will be the, Chinatown night market a.k.a. Niu Che Shui, which one could experience the real pleasure of night shopping. Also, there’s heaps of shops to bargain there. Don’t worry, it wouldn’t be like the Malaysia’s Niu Che Shui which look like a dead city.
& lastly, Little India, which is one of the Singapore streets that attracted the most shoppers, especially during late night. Because…. It is here that you will find the Mustafa centre, which is Singapore’s only 24-hour shopping mall. ^^
Singapore… Here I come! woohoo.
p.s. – i promise there will be not an advert on the next post AGAIN. pinky promise. ^^

October 8, 2009hi, reader from singapore here!
I wouldn’t recommend you to Chinatown for late night shopping actually. cos it’s not really a shopping heaven compared to BUGIS STREET! :)
it’s opened till as late as 11pm (or even later). you can find many latest shoes and clothes there at very cheap price. IT’S A MUST GO! lol i sound like i’m paid to promote. but just don’t wanna disappoint you when you didn’t know and ended up in Chinatown. do check it out.
