It was a Sunday morning, the mom who has nasi lemak fetish woke us up early. Daddy then brought us to the place that is well known for their best nasi lemak in town, the Village Park Restaurant, located at damansara uptown.
This is my second visit to this restaurant, we reached there around 9 in the morning to beat the crowd. We was a little late the last time and we ended up have no seats. We had learned our lesson. lol.
no joke, if only we are slightly later, we are impossible to get ourselves a seat.
twice I went, the entrance is as crowded and as usual, full house.
people are lining up patiently to get their own plate of pipping hot nasi lemak.
my JUG of bandung blended. 6/10.
their milo dinosaur is much better, i reckon, as it’s thick & rich.
Well marinated fried chicken, it’s a must try.
It’s crispy yet the meat inside is surprisingly not rough, it’s tender instead.
trust me, it definitely beats KFC’s fried chicken flat.
yet among all, the NASI is my favorite.
most of you know, I couldn’t take spicy food while many say without sambal nasi lemak will not taste as good anymore. But no, Village Park’s Nasi tastes real good itself. It doesn’t stick together, it’s firm instead. It’s pipping hot when it’s serve, you can still see steam when it’s served. Last but not least, it smells really good and definitely tasty.
oh yea, Mahathir had dine at this place too. ;)
Go and have a try, definitely worth trying.
& I believe you will go back and ask for more. ;)

August 13, 2009this reminds me a lot of the nasi lemak stall in setapak where there’s always a queue from 7pm-midnight. and their sambal and fried chicken are the main attraction, can’t get enough of it and the price is obnoxiously high too.

August 13, 2009How different does it compare with normal Nasi Lemak? It seems pretty normal to me (from the picture). Looks like nasi lemak served at Steven Corner to me too XD
