The journey continues…❤
After Pandawa Beach, we went to Padang-Padang beach in Uluwatu. To unveil this beauty, we will need to pass through a narrow path between 2 giant rocks that connects the beach & main road.
Monkeys. Apparently, monkeys in Bali are dangerous. You have to be very careful with your belongings or else it will be snatch away by the monkeys.
After passing through the steep rocky steps, we entered the tropical paradise. It’s like a hidden treasure. (ᵒ̤̑ ₀̑ ᵒ̤̑)wow!*✰
The ocean view is surely spectacular. It was crowded with (mostly)foreigners laying on the sand enjoying the sun and surf. The whole area is enclosed with cliffs, and it looks like a wave pool. Komang told us this is a surf beach, it is popular among those honing their surfing skills.
Golden sands // Blue Seas // Bikinis // Hot surfers // Beautiful Sunset…
What else is there to ask for? (。♥‿♥。)
Didnt have enough time for the sea, so we were basically “photoshooting” by the beach. *laugh*
We were just spending some time there relaxing ourselves, listening to the waves crashing and watch the sunset, while taking photos.
There’s warungs at the side selling Indonesian street food and drinks.
Coconut, again.
Coconut here is about IDR25K.
Ok, I admit. I think beach goes better with bikini! (#^.^#)
Though I hate looking short standing beside you. But, I still love you heaps! ( ˘ ³˘)❤
When candid turns out nice! It’s definitely good to have travel buddies that’s such good photographer. (thanks, jessie)
I had totally got tanner after exposing to sun for the whole day, without sun-block.
Spent about 45mins there, time flies, it felt as if it’s only 10mins. (ʃ⌣́,⌣́ƪ) Anyhoo, finished up the beer, & we proceeded to the next stop.
Next up, we went to Uluwatu Temple. Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of Bali’s 9 main temples, and is one of the places to watch the Kecak Dance.
We need to wear a sarong before entering the temple premises. (oh, I got my yellow dress from one the local stall in Padang-padang beach for about IDR45K)
A tourist came to us and asked us to take care of our belongings, because there’s someone’s spectacles that got snatched away by the monkeys and chewed into pieces. oh-wow-oh-wow. (」゜ロ゜)」
Komang said this is the Balinese pose, so we did it.
Took a few group photos outside the temple. Every where is Bali is a photo spot.
We were climbing a lot of stairs, but it’s all worth it, when we saw the amazing view. The sun, & sea. Truly breathtaking. The temple is located at the edge of a steep cliff, overlooking the crashing waves 70 meters below.
真的感受到了时候暂时脱离都市繁华,隐居一隅的感覺。真美好!
I am lost in the beauty of it. ♥
I wish to stay longer, but the Balinese cultural show – Kecak & fire dance is about to start. We got ourselves a good spot before the place got all filled up.
James, the photographer for all the beautiful shots. 辛苦了!
Show about to start.
Komang told us it’s the Bali style of Romeo & Juliet. The shows is about the story of Prince Rama and his rescue of Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by the evil King of Lanka.
The whole show is performed by a group of 70 men who dance in a circle around blazing bamboo torches, voices chanting “chak-achak-achak,” hence giving the dance its name.
The most exciting part is in the end of it when the white monkey kicked off the fire. Good show, afterall.
We left 5mins before the show ends to avoid the traffic. Last stop of day 2, will be dinner by the beach at Jimbaran Bay. Foursome, romantic candle light dinner. ~(^з^)-♡
Thank you, love, for the whole Bali trip. I know I have always been emotional and stubborn, thank you for sucking up to all my nonsense and still loving me as much. I am blessed, to have you. (just lessen your ego, it will be perfect, hehe…) ヽ(愛´∀`愛)ノ
fresh seafood under the moonlight by the beach. ♥
We ordered the set dinner for four, which costs us about IDR1.6M (RM427). It’s really throat cutting as the dinner isn’t exactly superb, but guess it’s the atmosphere that cost it all. ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
romantic dinner, romantic tunes; perfect way to end the night. (\˳˘ ɜ˘)˳ ♬♪♫ 童話 – NOW PLAYING…
That’s all for day 2. Explored 5 different locations in a day, we were all exhausted at the end of the day. Went for a quick Balinese massage nearby before we head back to the hotel. (∪。∪)。。。zzz
Stay tune for day 3. xoxo.♥
