L A S T S U N D A Y.♥ #throwback
Was planning a catch up with ryan for the longest time ever. We were both busy and it’s extremely hard for us to meet up. Finally, met up last sunday for brunch.
Wanted to visit Jibby & Co. However, it’s too packed (as usual). Their tagline is “Come for the food, stay for the coffee.” Guess it doesn’t apply that well after-all as it’s always packed, and you just wouldn’t want to stay any longer looking at the long queue outside.
Didn’t want to wait because our tummy is already procrastinating, we went to Tous Les Jours instead.
His salad, “not a cheat day.” he said. LOL. (─‿─)
My egg benedict, RM9.90.
Not superb, but for the price we’re paying, I think it’s worth it.
Hello, pretty boy. Oh well, first photo of us after so long.
Spent the whole afternoon catching up, guess after all we are all growing up. Conversation topics can never leave “work” and future plannings. Good one, though. (:
After that, headed over to Hartamas for dinner with the bunch.
Yes, I was really reading while waiting for the rest. *staresss* ƪ(‾ε‾“)ʃ
Got so addicted with Tuesday with Morrie, it has been a fantastic read. It’s so inspiring, so many lessons learned, & left me with many things to think about. There’s one part that appealed to me in many ways. ♥
“Everybody knows they’re going to die, but nobody believes it. If we did, we would do things differently.” I was facing some transition is my life recently, got all emotional. This quote just somehow gave me a wake up slap right on my face.
I begin to think, how would I react if I were really to die tomorrow, would I still hold grudges and getting all upset on things that I now think it’s important? I was surprised that, a lot of things became so insignificant instantly when I start to think like that. Undeniably, it is human nature to hold grudges, & not to forgive. Morrie taught me that we should really start forgiving & loving before it’s too late. Of course, we will need to learn to forgive our-self too, because that’s the only key for us to stay happy. Be thankful, appreciate, & do not take anything for granted. End of the day, I pray too stay long enough to make things right with everyone, seal the deal, and say good bye in peace, surrounded with love. ♡〜٩(^▿^)۶〜♡
Ok, get back to dinner! We went to Naught Babe Dirty Duck, Desa Sri Hartamas. Finally! (ikr, the restaurant name is super catchy, heh! It somewhat reminds me about Naughty Nuri in Bali) Oh, there is no telephone bookings for tables so you better go there early to get a table or else have to wait for a table.
What we had?
Sausage Platter, Rm 58
Hungarian // German pepper // Chorizo // Foot Long. ❤
Everything served with mashed potato and sauerkraut. The portion is humongous, and love how juicy it is!
NDBB BBQ Pork Ribs, RM68. ॱ॰⋆(˶ॢ‾᷄﹃‾᷅˵ॢ)ӵᵘᵐᵐᵞ♡♡♡
Full slab served on a wooden board, perfectly grilled, lacquered with a layer of sticky barbecue sauce. And, it’s HUGE! I am in love with the tenderness of juiciness, definitely one of the best ribs I had. We all love it, & if you ask; Yes, we will definitely be back for this again! It’s addictive!
Have been pampering myself with heaps of scrumptious food lately. (っ˘ڡ˘ς)
Will update again, real soon. hehe!
