On 11th November, I attended the launch of new HD channels via campaign “HD is our Universe” held at SOJU Sunway. Astro now pampered us with clearest resolution to enjoy your favorite dramas, sitcoms, sports, movies, documentaries and much more in stunning HD via 48 HD channels.
Be prepared to be spoilt for choice!

According to him, the number of HD channels on Astro started with 4 in 2009 has now grown to 40. Today, with 8 new HD channels, the total number of HD channels on Astro is now 48.
Astro New HD channels are:
Fox Family Movies HD (CH 434), Fox Action Movies HD (CH 430), HITS HD (CH 720), FYI HD (CH 736). Astro AEC HD (CH 306), Astro Shuang Xing HD (CH 307), DIVA HD (CH 723) & FOX HD (CH 724).
Astro New SD channels:
ZooMoo (CH 619) & Celestial Classic Movies (CH 321).
If you’re an existing Astro SD customers , you can enjoy Zoo Moo (dependant on Kids pack subscription) and Classic Chinese Movies November 2014 to 28 February 2015, FOR FREE.
Good news for all!
Astro HD customers can enjoy the preview of 9 preview channels (8HD/1SD) from 16 November 2014 to 28 February 2015. All Astro HD customers can also enjoy a access to AOTG (Astro on the Go) from 1 December 2014 to 28 February 2015.
The best thing is, my favorite channels are now in HD! *hoorayyyyyy
