Physiogel 14 day challenge!

I guess many of you might have already read about my skin recovery process in my earlier blog post (yes, the one that involves many laser treatments!). By now, I have successfully gotten rid of my skin acne problems. However that comes with a downside – I now have a very dry skin.

I’ve always thought that moisturizers tend to cause new acne growth, so, since I started my laser treatment, I’ve been skipping the moisturizers which makes my skin even more dehydrated on top of the treatment.

I remember that there is a product in the market called PHYSIOGEL that’s highly recommended for treating dry sensitive and skin like mine. It is said that even dermatologists would recommend it, but I hesitated to try because of my perception that moisturizers tend to cause more acne growth on my skin.

So, this is my current skin condition.
Because it’s dry, it’s easily irritable and as you can see some red patches on my cheeks.

It was until last week that my perception on using moisturizer has changed.

I had the honour to be invited to the Physiogel Calming Relief Face Range launch in Bangkok. I’ve learnt so much more about sensitive skin from the experts themselves. They’ve shown us that 1 in 2 women in Asia has sensitive skin! (There is even a research on this! I’ll share with you at the bottom of this post) which is something that I can totally relate to personally.

I’m still feeling thrilled to be a part of the Physiogel Inner Circle from last week’s launch. I’m joining hands with some of the region’s top beauty influencers to take lead in educating women in our home countries to take charge of sensitive skin.

I’m taking on the Physiogel 14 day challenge!

“93% women experienced a visibly reduced skin redness after two weeks. 91% women agreed that their skin appeared visibly healthier after two weeks of use.” – Shared one of the spokesperson during the launch event. These are the test results from a research conducted in Germany in June 2014 on 169 women using Physiogel Calming Relief Face Range for two weeks.

Hmmm…. Just 2 weeks?
I’m taking this challenge to see the effect myself!

I got this chio skin detector from Physiogel when I Kickstarted my 14 day challenge using the Physiogel Calming Relief Face Range. It’s for me to measure my skin moisture level before and after using Physiogel.

This is how it’s used.
The skin detector have sensors to measure the moisture level of our skin to see how well it is hydrated.

15.3%! Basically it means my skin lacks moisture (why am I not surprise, ugh).

It has been a week since I tried Physiogel Calming Relief Face Range, so, here’s how I find it so far:-

#1 Physiogel Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser leaves skin feeling CLEAN & SOFT.

Very often, cleanser makes your skin feel tight and dry and we’ve been thinking all this while they are supposed to do so, because, if it doesn’t feels tight, it’s not properly cleansed. I learnt that this is a myth! Haha!

The truth is, what we all need is a cleanser that washes away all the makeup yet keeping our skin moisture intact! Physiogel Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser gave me this solution and as a result, my skin feeling instantly comforted and soothed even after cleansing!

#2 Physiogel Calming Relief Face Cream is NOT STICKY

I was recommended by the facialist use the Physiogel Calming Relief Face Cream day use.

I find that it’s absorbed very fast into my skin and I can see my face glowing immediately upon applying it. I can also feel of an immediate relief from skin dryness but without feeling greasy or sticky. On top of that, the face cream serves as an amazing make-up base as the make-up stays well throughout the day while my skin remains moisturized without feeling greasy or sticky!

#3 Physiogel Calming Relief Face Cream Rich gives INTENSIVE HYDRATION.

Just like the name suggests, Physiogel Calming Relief Face Cream Rich is RICHER than the one I used for day. The texture is thicker and more suitable for times when I feel that my skin needs a more intensive rehydration, for example after staying outdoors for the whole day and getting exposed to extremely hot and sunny weather in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

I am looking forward to see the how my skin improved after the 14 day challenge!
Stay tuned as I will share more about my experience with the Physiogel Calming Relief Face Range!
